In the afternoon, you'll be transported to the port of Strasbourg, where your river cruise ship awaits. Upon boarding, settle into your cabin with ease and comfort. Tonight is the festive gala evening! While there is no formal dress code, it’s a night to dress up and enjoy. The crew, all in their dress uniforms, are presented to the passengers, who are invited to have a pre-dinner drink with the captain. That evening, the chef will serve a banquet paying a special tribute to the world of gastronomy. Dancing follows this gala dinner in the lounge bar. As you celebrate, the ship will continue cruising toward Esztergom, passing Bratislava throughout the night, providing a perfect backdrop for this memorable evening. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
Day 13: Esztergom - Budapest (Hungary)
After enjoying breakfast onboard, take the opportunity to leisurely explore Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary. We recommend visiting the majestic Neo-Classical Basilica that dominates the cityscape and exploring the regal remnants of the former Royal Palace. Before midday, the ship will set sail for Budapest, the Hungarian capital often called the 'Pearl of the Danube' and renowned as one of Europe's most attractive cities. You will have a brief opportunity to explore the city before returning to the ship for dinner. Afterwards, you may wish to join us for the optional 'Budapest by Night' tour. This enchanting excursion takes you through the illuminated streets of Budapest, showcasing the city’s stunning architecture and captivating charm. Upon arrival in Prague, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming streets of the city or savoring local specialties like Buchty, a sweet, fluffy bun. Enjoy your overnight stay in Prague. (Breakfast)
Day 17 & 18 - Prague
Start your days with breakfasts at the hotel. Spend your time at leisure to further explore Prague. Consider taking a walking tour through the city, where you can visit the Old Town Square, renowned for its early 15th-century astronomical clock, and Wenceslas Square. You will certainly be astonished by the wonderful Charles Bridge, a 500-meter-long stone bridge from the 14th century decorated with 30 statues and connecting the Old Town with Prague Castle. In the Lesser Town, visit the Church of Saint Nicholas, celebrated as one of Europe’s most stunning baroque monuments. This picturesque area, located on the slopes just below Prague Castle, is also known for its vibrant array of pubs and restaurants. (Breakfasts)
